If you’re an adventurous foodie who loves eggs, then duck eggs may be worth a try. Duck eggs are interesting because they’re larger than a large-sized hen’s egg. They have a large, golden, creamy yolk, and many people love them for their rich, extra “eggy” flavor.  They contain more albumen than chicken eggs and so are great for use in baking because they hold up more structurally. Our ducks are free ranging in a large pen and fed non GMO local feed from Dalew Farms. They are happy ducks with access to fresh water and garden scraps and grass clippings to their heart’s content.  You can tell they get plenty of quality food by the rich color of the yolks of their eggs.  Try them if you dare.  They make a great custard too!
