Description
Meadow Blazingstar (Liatris ligulistylis) is a butterfly magnet. Many gardeners will vouch to its ‘magical’ ability to attract monarchs, especially when a patch of 10 or more plants are present. The flowers are also popular with bees and hummingbirds and seeds are a food source for goldfinches. This native to the grasslands of central Canada and the United States is hardy from zones 3-8. Our seed is sustainably wild-collected from native grasslands in the Brandon Manitoba area.
