Classic large sunflowers that tower over the garden. Can grow to over 6′ tall. The seeds are also edible so save the heads once you can rub seeds out with your fingers and dry for eating. Also leave heads on the plants for winter bird food.

Each package contains 25+ seeds

Easy to grow. Start indoors 3–4 weeks before last frost at temperatures of 65–75° or direct sow after frost. Thin to best plant, 1′ or more apart. Rich friable soil yields tallest plants; drought stunts growth. Will readily self-sow; for some fun leave a few volunteers in strategic locations.

Focusing on short season, and regionally adapted seeds. we are working to acclimatize varieties to work better here, adapt to our changing climate by being able to withstand variable weather patterns.

All our seeds are open pollinated, non-GMO. Most come from heritage varieties passed down from generations of farmers.
