Hanging weights can vary between 100-160 lbs per 1/4 (you can tell us your preference to get a small or large order, and we will do our best to accommodate you). If you are trying to calculate the cost, here is an example: $8.50/lb x 120 lbs (example)= $1020 – $500 deposit = $459 due on delivery *(this is an example only). Multiply this example by 2 for a HALF or by 4 for a WHOLE.
We will send out a Google form to customize your order closer to the butcher date.
Our price includes cut & wrap, and hanging weight means before the animal is cut up, so if you choose to have lots of ground beef made and don’t take your bones or organ meat, you will get less actual weight delivered to you. There is up to approximately 30% loss from the hanging weight (curing the meat and trimming).
