Description
George purchased an oat roller at an auction in southern Ontario 48 years ago and in the last three years, he has refurbished it with the help of his friend John. It is possibly 100 years old.
The rollers are 9” in diameter and 20” long. The bearings are 6” long Babbit and sit on a cast iron frame. The init itself is extremely heavy. The oats are fed through a feed roll metering system.
We use raw hulless oats grown on our farm for all our oat products. 2023 will be our fourth year growing these particular oats. Unlike most oat products found in grocery stores, ours are not dehulled, and also not steamed and flaked and then dried.
They have a shorter shelf life. We recommend keeping them in the refrigerator or freezer. Like all of our products, the oats are grown to strict organic standards.

Delicious and VERY filling. Great on their own or used in baking 🙂
