The Live Free Farmstead is located in Markstay/Warren Ontario. Derek and Lynn Deveau own and operate the farm.

We officially started our journey 4.5 years ago. Our journey started due to the ever changing times and our need to become more self sufficient. We decided to start by growing fresh, chemical free food for our own family. Then came market gardening allowing us to provide the same quality of food we were providing our family, to our community.

We use and are passionate about food forests, permaculture practices and building healthy soil that will not be damaging to the earth and its inhabitants, while also enhancing it.
